Any ideas for recovering energy after spell with bad heart?

Cant stress it enough, CoQ10 as a supplement. Its an expensive lil devil tho, but helps the heart tremendously, also helps the heart to work more easily, many also say it helps with energy. One of those things the body produces in abundance when young I guess and then doesnt get produced at all like it should as we reach our 40's and up.

My mom took it after a major heart attack, after I started doing research and it helped her lots for a good 10 years.

Keep on keeping on, I am cheering for you and your fam. Hugs to you

I was getting around to it.

It was a mild heart attack. Not sure how he came up with the "mild" part... compared to what?
I feel like... well, not good tonight. I guess just from having to get out of the house and the walking I had to do. It's tough right now to make it from the bedroom to the living room, and having to go to town was almost more than I could take. He wanted to keep me in the hospital for a few days for observation. I asked him what they planned on doing while I was there and he just gave me one of those "you are a really stupid patient" looks and said "Observe you".

Anyway, I told him my wife could "observe me" and didn't charge a thousand dollars a day. (I do however have to watch EVERY episode of house over and over and over.. Lawd, that woman needs a LIFE!) Anyway, I'm a bit worried about his advise.

He wants me to quit working and take it easy, no stress, eat better, no more 12 hour days, no heavy lifting, lots of other common sense stuff that I can't really do but that sounds sorta nice. Or will until the bills come due.

My wife wants me to sell the buisness. She thinks between the long hours, seven day work weeks, heavy lifting and just general stress that it's killing me. What she can't get her mind around is that it's like asking me to sell one of my kids. I've put 30 years of my life into it. I'm too darn old to learn a new trade at this stage of my life. Right now with the economy the way it is, I would have to take a huge loss on it too, plus I doubt I could get enough out of it to pay everything off. So then I'd be out of work, no job, broke, and still owe money.

Just have a lot of thinking to do, a lot of things to decide.

New jobs I could do at my age.. hummm.
I could raise chickens, but I need more than a couple of hundred dollars a year to live on.
Professional gambler... naw, I'm not lucky enough and don't have the right kinda hat.
Run for office.... naw, not crooked enough
Televangelest.... again, not crooked enough.
Gofer grader... not sure if gofers need graded.

I'll think of something.

OK Mr. MISSISSIPPIFARMBOY; time for a serious talk. There may be nothing else that your allopathic dr. can do for you but that is just because he doesn't know what else to do. He doesn't have anything like what naturopathic healers have in his practice. Whatever you do, do not settle for a life of drugs that just treat your symptoms; find the right supplements to get yourself back to whatever is normal for you and then find a naturopath that can recommend support for your whole system, not just your heart, so that you can heal.

Look into supplements with hawthorne berry. There is one called HS II by Nature's Sunshine. I think it is hawthorne, garlic and something else. Here is a great recipe for hawthorne tea: http://www.veria.com/heart-healthy-hawthorn-tea.html
The
other supplement that I mentioned before is CoQ10. I'm not a doctor. I can't advise you to anything, but look into these supplements. Both do different things and used together are a common treatment for heart/circulatory problems. Google them and then find someone to treat your whole system. Your body was made to heal; give it a little help so you can get on down the road...

It would appear that you have lots of people that would like to keep you around for a while longer...

Gosh MFB, take care. There ARE lots of people that want you to hang around a bit longer.

Imp- As serious as a heart attack.
