Heres another picture, not the best. Ill try to get a better one. This chick has been very slow to feather out and its wing feathers came in all sorts of cockeyed.... could it be frizzeled? Supposed to be black marans

There are slow feathering Marans. I have never seen a frizzeled Marans and these definitely look like Marans chicks. Let it molt and then see what you have, at least that is what I would do. I have learned it is a very long time between birth and culling so I just don't critique them when they are very young.... they change so much. Marans chicks can look pretty scruffy for a long time. Adorable just hatched and then awkward.
