I took some newer pics today. They have feathered out quite a bit. The little white one is slower feathering than the rest. The little chipmunk is growing faster than the other bantams. she is still considerably smaller than the standard size Wyandottes though.
I know I'm probably driving you all crazy with all of my pics, they are just growing so fast! No questions really here, just updated pics of my chicks.
If I end up with multiple roos, does anyone know where I can go on here to find them homes? I don't want them to be eaten. I would like to line up places for them before hand. I'm in northeastern Indiana.
The next to last picture in your latest post I would swear is a Mille Fleur. I had one feather out JUST like that & it was a Fleur.
To get rid of Roo's your best bet is CL but you probably won't be able to sell them. I did sell a couple of Silkie Roo's and my Fleur Roo (yes it was a Roo -- sob!) for $10 each, but the other 7-8 I just gave away. Luckily I found a guy that had hens of almost ALL the breeds I had roo's for & he HAPPILY took all my Roo's. Maybe you'll find someone like that.
Are Mille Fluer a breed or color? She has a straight comb like a cochin. I hope I can find someone if I need to to take them. Maybe someone on here would want them. Craigs list makes me nervous. I have no idea where they would be going. Im a bit attached. lol
