Any Jewish Poultry Keepers?

Is the gid ha’neshe a problem in poultry?
My broody just hatched 2 Rhode Island Red chicks and I want to have them processed at about 8 weeks.
No, only in mammals.
Fish don't need anything from the above! I forgot to tell.

I really hope I can find a shochet to come to my house and slaughter the birds, check the carcasses, & salt the birds. I’ll do the feather removal and gutting.
I can tell you how to do the salting the shcita is the hard thing, but if you don't have any choice try it yourself, you can see it in you tube and learn from. If you want some links about this proces in private message.

Honestly if it wasn’t for the fact that I’m not a shochet I’d have no problem processing my own birds. I do need to be certified by a Rabbi don’t I?
I’ll private message you.

I generally like to make sure the fish I catch are dead before I start to take them apart. I once saw a man fillet a live flounder! :th
Never but never a human being should be cruel to animals! The part of the killing is bad enough, cruelty is NEVER NEEDED!
