What difference does a rooster make? The egg won’t start developing into a chick unless it’s been incubated for at least 3 days.
Yes, but if the egg is fertilized AND you found a blood on the yolk you never know if it is a part of the mother oviduct, or an embryo, and when you arr in doubt, there is no doubt!

Define into a chick?
I remember reading somewhere (I’ll have to find where) that the embryo doesn’t start to develop until the egg has been incubated for at least 3 days. That’s what I mean by into a chick.
Supposedly blood spots only occur in chicken eggs when there’s a rooster around to fertilize them.

I do not know how factual this is:

That’s so amazing! I had no idea that the embryo starts to develop once it begins to be incubated!
I was amazed too! If you have a really bright light and a light-colored egg you can candle and see the changes in 12 hours or less.

I really love talking with you nice people but it is tomorrow already and I do need my sleep, so good night and ליל מנוחה from the holly land!
!לילה טוב
Talk to you later! It really is so funny that it's tomorrow there in Israel and here the sun is still shining! Jerusalem time is 9 hours ahead of my time here in North Dakota!
