Any Metalheads out there?

Anyone else in the Ohio area make it to "Rock on the Range" this year? Godsmack and Bullet for My Valentine were great and you have to love Slash, but Rob Zombie really tore the place up. "Sick Bubblegum" and "Mars needs Women"were just awesome!!!!!! So many great bands in one place.

Speaking of Rob Zombie, when I took DD's friend home last week, a house on the way had a dilapidated old black hearse on the front lawn with flames painted on it. Anyone know if Rob Zombie has hunting property on Townline Rd in Arenac County?

I didn't see any Iron Maiden, Dio or Judas Priest!!

Megadeth--an absolute must!!

Rammstein ,Pantera, Static-X, Scorpions, White Zombie/Zombie, Korn, Prong (Snap Your Finger, Snap Your Neck is like quintessential metal)

and with Hank Williams III! well from 2002ish anyway. i'd give my right arm to see hank iii play down here doing a set of his country then with his rockabilly and metal bands. one thing that isn't great about living down this way is the lacking of regular big name band gigs. oh well.

A co-worker of mine had tickets for Metallica at Pine Knob (back when it was still Pine Knob in 1998) and said that if his friend didn't go, he'd call me. Well, his friend didn't end up going and he asked another co-worker. I was so ticked Monday morning "Mat doesn't even LIKE Metallica!!"
