Any one live close to the Mississippi River?

It just blows my mind at how much water that is coming down the river!

Hopefully not another 1998? flood which it was a real mess. Highways across the Illinois to Iowa were shut down for a couple of weeks or so. A real mess!

I'm actually closer to the Red River here in Louisiana....some of the Mississippi water will come this way via the Red. The backwater flooding is what's going to get us...for now, 9 feet predicted but no one can accurately predict. I'm packing up now.
