Any other ideal orders coming this week?

Congrats to you both, Got mine from ideal last thursday and was very pleased with them. If these are your first chicks you are gonna be amazed how fast they grow. In one week mine have at least tripled in size and have wing feathers some of which are 2 to 3 inches long. Good Luck and welcome to BYC. O Yea... great pics keep em coming

I just picked mine up! I had one DOA (NHR) but the rest seem pretty happy and healthy. I'll post pics soon!

I am still waiting for mine. They should be here tomorrow.. (hopefully) Wow, thats alot of packing peanuts! Wonder what they are? Good luck with them all! All these pics are making me anxious! Waiting is not easy! I guess I will go clean. Waiting for more pics!!

I just got mine today and every single one of them are DOA I am so mad!!!!!! they were suppose to ship monday but shipped them sunday so the poor little things starved to death!!! I am setting here bawling my eyes out my poor little babies!!!!

Well, i don't think i mentioned it on this thread, but Ideal called me yesterday to say they were shipping my chicks. i thought i would have to wait until March. i asked if they could put some d'anvers in, but they were all out for the day.

Now with everyone getting their chicks within 24 hours, i called my Post Office and they are on alert. Maybe i'll get my babies today? i guess i need to get the brooder set up (and pray for live chicks).

Cute fluffy butts, ThreeBoysChicks. And, that's a lot of peanuts. Guess i will set up the big brooder.

We had one DOA but the rest are fine. In fact they're little piggies; within 10 minutes in the brooder they were all in the food and water which made me very happy!

We have 5 black australorps, 5 gold laced wyandottes, 5 silver laced wyandottes, 5 barred rocks and 4 new hampshire reds.

Sorry to hear about doa chicks. I got mine last week and all are ok but i think when i order next spring i will wait a little longer. Weather this year has been so unpredictable. Good luck with your replacement order i hope they are all ok.

Chickabator I am so sorry I got my polish two weeks ago and the only things that made it were the peanuts and all of them looked doa but I warmed and rubbed and ended up with 8 and they are growing good tomorrow my replacement order is due in and now the weather is crazy again so

I should wait longer to order but I want them to mature by summer good luck to all of us
