Hi, I would love it if anyone who has hatchery silkies could post pics. I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect from my order coming next week (from mypetchicken). I saw some silkies at TSC, they were approximately 2-3 weeks old and honestly they were just awful looking, and not in the normal teenager chicken way. The employee I asked said they got them from Mount Healthy. I know I'll love my silkie chick no matter what, but I want to be prepared. When I put in my order months ago I didn't know a ton about chickens and I thought that the pics of really fluffy silkies was representative of what I was ordering.

TIA!

These chicks were purchased from TSC--not sure which hatchery they came from (somewhere in OH, we were told?). They will be 2 wks old tomorrow.

Mine is from orschelns. His name is Ugly because he was hideous there for awhile. He still isn't as pretty as my white silkies. They came from a person, but don't know where she got hers.
Here's Ugly
