Any pipe smokers?

I've taken to sitting in the back porch, in a rocker, smoking a pipe, and watching the girls.

I have a tobacconist nearby that sells "local" blends, as well cigars, and they've recently started a bar... I've enjoyed a few of their concoctions while watching the sun set and the chooks peck and scratch.

My favorite pipe is a briar, bent Apple shaped with a coarse finish. Although I do have a straight, smooth with a waxed finish which I also enjoy.

Any thoughts?

I haven't yet in my life but I see it in my future...sitting on the porch on a chilly fall day with an aromatic pipe. Sounds like a peaceful experience. My dad was a pipe smoker at an early stage in his life and I have his pipes. Might just give it a try!

It really is... Kicking back, watching the sun dip below the horizon, enjoying your beverage of choice. For me, some nights it's tea, if it's hot a cold beer, other times a dram of scotch.
If not, let me know. I'm an estate pipe refinisher in the reeds and would love to expand my collection.
