Any Rabbit Breeders/Owners Here at BYC?

First, no, its not cruel for a doe to live with her hormones. As I said, that's the way God made them.
But, as i see you all don't agree with me, and I'm fine with that, let's just leave it up to @Jenessa_096 to decide.:)
I personally believe that domestic rabbits have changed so much from what they originally were by humans, so they are no longer really as god intended the wild rabbits to be. Since they are no longer wild rabbits, they have different needs and issues, so I think spaying them is worth any risk. Many people have done it and in the majority of cases it goes just fine and the rabbit ends up living a longer life than she likely would have, compared to unsprayed does.

Of course it is more expensive and is more of an invasive surgery so it's up to the owner whether or not they want to do it. Though with also having a male, it will be 100 times easier to bond them that it would otherwise be, where they possibly would have to be houses separately.

Off topic, but I now you told me once that you were working on an article about raising rabbits. Did you ever finish it, @EverythingDucks ? Also, have you gotten your own buns yet? :D
