Any Rabbit People? Warning Pic Heavy!

Gandalph is the only one I have left though. He was found last january in the middle of a busy interesection. Someone thought he was a toy and so went to pick him up only to realize he was real. SOmeone mentioned me so he is MINE lol. He is SUPER smart. Knows how to use the doggy door, open his cage, eats and drinks out of the dog bowls and is an all around stinker. But i love him lol

Goat_Walker she did have basset hound eyes, but all my giant angoras did, actually the pics are of two of my trio, Ulla and my buck Herbert.

You have/had some cute little ones. As far as mis naming based on mis sexing, I have been there too. My little brother's first rabbit was a black otter netherland dwarf. When we picked it up at the breeder we told them we wanted a doe and they handed it to me and I rechecked, yep a girl, so we payed and left. 7 months later I go to breed 'holly' to our other nethie and he flipped off the whole nine yards, so I thought Holly was bred. 30 days later, no babies, so I went out to pick her up to rebreed her and well she had man parts! OMG for the first 10 months of this rabbit's life he was called Holly. The name did stick though, we just changed it to Buddy Holly

I've heard it said that when sexing rabbits, girls are tacos and boys are burritos...works for me ;-)) I have meat rabbits and my bucks are the sweetest luv bugs ever. If I had a pet doe, however, I would consider getting her spayed (if it was inexpensive enough) as some of my girls do get 'hormonal' at times when they want to be bred. I don't keep rabbits that bite though...just my opinion.

Wow, It is nice to see other people with Silver Fox Rabbits! I have one lonely doe "Leela", never could find her a man. She is the last of my show bunnies, she is past her showing prime but still a beautiful rabbit.

I can finally post in this thread. Just got my bunnies over the past two days. I have one 3/4 NZ 1/4 Flemish, one Champage D'argent and one REW Satin. My buck is the satin and we'll be breeding for meat production. They are all young, under 4 months old and my buck is only 8 weeks. The ladies are three times his size, but he's got a bold attitude, but not bratty. My NZ doe is a little bratty though, while my D'argent is very sweet but scared. I'll get some pics later
