any thoughts on hybrids

What do you all think about hybrids, I know that everyone loves a pure breed.....but when your numbers are down what's your take? This is referring to personal egg producers and meat...

i like em. I have tons of fun breeding diff birds together and seeing what i end up with. I do breed purebreds and sell them, but the mixed breeds i keep for personal use of eggs and meat, and they are always fun. The biggest thing i use them for is meat, since i don't like buying meat birds every year i just have fun coming up with crazy mixes to go one the dinner table.

What do you mix? I was thinking about breeding my black copper marans to my Rhode island reds and cinnamon quenns
