Any tips or tricks to help keep chickens cool in this heat.

Sry, if i am in wrong forum.

I thought of freezing freezin bottles then putting them in my waterers a couple times a day
Keep water cool..

What do you guys do thats not costly ? Any tips or tricks?

Ice cubes in the waterer, melt into the water as the day goes by. If it's really hot, maybe make an ice block in a ziplock bag might last longer.
 
It's going to be really hot this week in n.c. 97-98 degrees heat index 100- 105. They have a fan blowing on them, a tarp over there run and plenty of water with ice in it. We are lucky to live close to work so we can check on them at lunch time. Poor things are panting and holding there wings out some. We have frozen watermelon and blueberries for a treat at lunch.
 
Anyone use fans for air circulation?
Im thinking of using a fan..coops directly behind the the window in my room so i will be able to make sure everything runs smooth. They have to be miserable they dont even lay eggs as much in this heat but. i cant blame them ugh...
