Anybody else Equestrian or Horse-lover?

Kelly, I LOVE your horses! I've always liked Saddlebreds (Fjords too but I don't have much experience with them) and it's good to see level-headed individuals of the breed. Mine is half-Saddlebred, half-Arab (foundation line Rex Denmark)

This is my quarterhorse Bugsy. I LOVE MY HORSE!!!

We're down to three horses which I would imagine is probably where we'll stay. We have my beloved 18 year old Percheron PMU rescue, Fiona. Love that mare to death but she's a holy terror to anyone else.
We have 6 year old Dixie, a leopard app that we bought with assurances that she was NOT pregnant for my little girl. She's going to be my ride this summer.
And last but not least we have the little filly that Dixie was NOT pregnant with, Miz Scarlett. She's a little sorrel blanket appy who seems to be roaning in some direction or another. Daddy is a Friesian paint cross.

I saw your cutie up above! I've always loved the combo of Arab/Saddlebred...LOVE it! When I was in high school, I had a really cute National Show Horse - but those were the days WAY before digital pics, so I'll see if I can scan a couple. I had him in the early days of the breed, and at the time, it was an affordable alternative to outragously priced Arabs (in the '80s they were out of sight!!!! Plus I liked the height the S'breds added. I also love GREYS!!! Lucky you!

Stanley (we think - we're still trying to get his papers) is by Attache's Born Believer. He's turning out to be a really nice horse & we love having him - he's nice and sane, too! He just looks "up" and crazy, but he's not.

Two years ago, when I got back into horses after a 10 year absence (kids/life), I thought I'd get something a little closer to the ground...at 40, the ground sure seemed to look a lot further away and a little harder than I remmebered!!! I'd always loved Fjords - that cute face, LOVE the mane! And I LOVE driving.

Siggy NEVER wigs out about anything...everything's ok...every day. His biggest concern is his next meal!

Thanks for the really nice compliments...I'm home sick with a cold, and it's a nice pick-me-up!

I ride at SweetHills stable and have a horse named Frisbee. He is a Quarter Horse. I am horse crazy and went to Junior Olympics.

We have 13 horses on our property, but we only own 2 of them.

This is my paint gelding Chili.

Thank you I am really lucky to have him. If was any more trained than what he was when I bought him and if his previous owner knew what she had I would have never gotten him at the price (2500). I have looked up other horses by the same sire and they are going for about $15,000 to $20,000. His sire is R Big Time Fancy and his sire was one of the major horses that influenced the breed.
