Anybody else have a RIDICULOUS amount of roos hatching???

Yeah out of 6 eggs I got 4 roos. Now I got a batch of 7 hatching I think I'm sunk.

well i was mostly bgetting hens until my last 2 hatches of welsummers and looks like i got a lot of roosters but the good thing i hatched these for my friend so he gets to deal with them all

I have been hatching 95% pullets.

I even had one 100% hatch that was 100% pullets about 6 weeks ago. That hatch was 3 blues, 3 blacks - bbs orpingtons.

The three times I have hatched eggs from online, I did okay. One was three pullets, two cockerels, one was TEN pullets, three cockerels, one was a single cockerel, which I REALLY REALLY REALLY needed to be a cockerel, and I bought some silkie eggs and midget turkey eggs and got nada. I feel like I did great. Just hatched three of my own first grandchicks, and it looks like two roos and one pullet so far.

This has been "The Year of the ROOS" for us...... I have had to sell or give away to many..and still have one in question!

Next time we will be Prayin' for Pullets!
