Anybody good at reading Ultrasound Photos?

Twins are notorious for hiding in utero. Our 2nd was always really difficult to pick up. He would skitter behind his brother. Used to really frustrate my doctor. Twins in utero are nothing to twins outside. Congratulations!

Mine were both very proud of their being two of them. Mine also had their own placentas and sacs, so my pregnancy was different than a Mono twin pregnancy.

My daughter had a confirmation of pregnancy ultrasound. There was a baby and about a week later the Doctor called her and said she needed to get with her baby doctor because he is quite sure it is mono twins. Any input?View attachment 1680228 View attachment 1680231

It's hard to say with out seeing the ultrasound being done, (all ive ever seen are my own)

If all these pictures were taken right after each other then i can see 2.

The third picture being baby in the foreground. and the first 2 pictures showing the side profile of the other babies body with it's face turned away.

I have identicals. They weren't always thrilled to be twins but not adverse to using it to their advantage either.

Identical twins are not genetic. Fraternal twins are though. For example, if you have siblings who are fraternal twins, you are 2.5 times more likely to have a multiple birth yourself. Just ask my mom, she has fraternal siblings and went on to have triplets herself! And none of us triplets have multiples. But, either way, a pregnancy is exciting and hopefully it is identical twins, that would be fun! Congrats!

See the fraternals people cannot believe they are twins. The look like siblings but one is taller and physically stronger the other is more a thinker. We call them Pinky and the Brain. The physical one and the smart one. The Brain tends to figure out things mentally before his twin. Pinky is physically able to do things that the Brain can't.
