anybody have any remedies for newborn thrush?

It's dark purple, stains badly, and you have to paint their mouths with it, but it's supposed to work really well!

how old is the baby?..

if the baby is less then 1 month old i would strongly advise AGAINST any OTC remedys!!...go to the ER I know its only thrush and it is very uncomfortable for baby but for the time that you will save with all these OTC remedys. I think the baby's overall health is worth the expense and time at the ER...just my 2 cents

he is not 2 weeks yet....his whole tongue is coated now and it is in his throat...it sure does spread fast

He is going to be miserable and it will show up on his bottom next. You really should take him in to the ER or insist the Ped's office do something NOW. If they refuse to help you find a new ped's office.

I am not going to tell her it might show up on his bottom also....she is already a basket case....she has those baby blues really bad....also I saw the 2yr taking the baby's bottle and putting it in his mouth now I am afraid he is going to get thrush also...you think that could happen....also she is putting a teaspoon of karo syrup in his bottle and I feel like all that sugar is going to make that yeast grow.....she is going to take him first thing in the morning to his doc....
