Through my time of looking for Lav Orp project birds and eggs and whatnot, I've never really liked Greenfire Farms. I mean, if you look at the current auction on Ebay - What ugly bird! Who doesn't even look like an Orpington, sorry. . . I'd say don't go with Greenfire, but Hinkjc is someone I myself would put more interest in.

I have my doubts that this person at Ebay has anything to do with them. I mean, on his website he advertises his Marans like heck, he advertises his Sussex like heck, and then, not a thing about Lavender Orpingtons?

Not only does the Green Fire Farms not have a thing about Lavendar Orpingtons on their website, they are located in North Florida, not Georgia!

Just food for though, it wouldn't be the first time someone on Ebay used someone elses name and reputation to sell their substandard product.

They are selling on Eggbid with the same username. I don't think they're a fraud, just in it for the $$$ rather than quality.

The pullets we, I mean she, has from their eggs do lay quite nice dark eggs, but they are garbage Marans. Nearly all black.
