Andalusian blue - produces the color group blue/black/splash they are inter-related colors.
A splash is usually black/grey spots on a silver or whitish bird.
There are however - blue splashes and the darker color is usually a darker blue, sometimes black. With some gene combos there are other splashes but the simple form is a light silver/gray/whitish bird with black flecks in an uneven pattern.
When you breed the base group blue/black/splash together you get different numbers of the different colors.
Blue to black - yields blues or blacks
Blue to blue - can yield the whole lot blue, black or splash chicks.
Splash to blue (may get this wrong) yields all blue.
And Splash to Splash yields all splash.
Probably got at least some of that wrong but you get the idea. It's late... LOL.
I prefer the most variation so like blue to blue breedings, then I get all three colors possible.
I have bbs Sizzles and bbs Rocks. Eventually I plan on committing all the blue gene information to brain cells that don't die over night but it hasn't happened yet.
