Anybody use Swiffer products in their house?

So do white silkies shake out, and stay white after they've been used for dusting the blinds? Or would you have to wash and rinse them?

I wonder how irked Miss Snowball would be if I tried to get her to help me with the housework? Do you think that it might break her broody cycle?

I spray a sponge with Pledge polish/duster.

I have the blinds closed so that no light comes in. I swipe the entirety of that side, then I reverse and do the same.

Gets it cleaned fairly easy.

I made pads for the Swiffer mop that I bought. I am too frugal to keep buying the disposable cloths just to throw them into a landfill. It always takes too many of the cloths to get my floor clean anyways. I have found that the only thing that really gets the floor truly clean is to get down and clean it on my hands and knees with a terry cloth. As for dusting I only bother when I see it, and then I use a rag with Howard Feed-n-Wax. If I can see the dust then the wood must need fed.

I use a Silkie Wet Jet. Works so much better. The frizzles are good for cleaning your blinds.
