Anyone bought chicks from My Pet Chicken??

Wanting to know if anyone has ordered chicks from My Pet Chicken. It is the only site I have found that allows me to order a few chicks, instead of 25. Any good or bad experiences?? I've never ordered chicks before, so I'm a little nervous.

i dont know with my pet chicken, but you can get chicks from ideal, as long as the order is over 25$, which so far is the best deal ive found. Just ask them not to put in the extra males for warmth, and they'll make sure its the warmer packaging.

I have an order in with them that will ship April 12th, small order of 6 sexed chickens.

I have contacted them on the order and their customer service is Very Good!

I searched on MPC on this forum before I ordered and found a lot of good threads, almost 100% positive.

I think it's going to be great!

From what I've read, they're very good!

Do a search on here, and you will find MANY very pleased customers of MPC, and very few, yet VERY vocal displeased customers.

I ordered from them, and received my chicks, all sexed correctly with live arrival. That's all I wanted, and I got it. The coloration was also quite good for hatchery chickens.

Their website is well designed, informative, and efficient, unlike some of the other hatcheries' sites. I never needed to speak with anyone there on the phone, but I hear they're very helpful.

As I understand, most of their chicks are shipped from Meyer Hatchery in Ohio.

If I ever need to order a few hatchery chicks again, I will certainly check with MPC first.

I have five girls I ordered from MPC in August. They are all good looking hatchery birds. I would order from them again.

I received 11 live chicks from them, they were great! The eggs I ordered from there, however, cam from a different place all together and arrived with a mangled box and such torn air cells it was hard to believe they hadn't taken a roller coasted over here.

I was pondering ordering from there again, as they've gotten some new stock.

I absolutely love My Pet Chicken! I have ordered from them (chicks and feed/supplies) and they are the nicest people and the healthiest chicks!

I have also ordered from a VERY popular (maybe the most popular) hatchery online (yes, they advertise a banner here) and was VERY displeased. Sickly chicks, rude service, problems all over!

My Pet Chicken is a awesome choice. I keep going back. AND! I have asked them some stupid (what would be seen as annoying even) questions in multiple emails when I was starting out... they answered every one, quickly. No short answers... they explained it all out for me. Very, very good service.

Can you tell I have always been impressed by them? Healthiest birds I have ever got from hatchery (matter of fact, from breeders too).

I've been looking into EFowl.com, they charge an extra $25 for order less than 10, but then take $10 off because they add in packing peanuts, so really it's only an extra $15, or if you order 10+ no extra charge!
Plus they seem to have very good prices!

to MPC. I ordered three in July- and they came as I ordered. They are now all laying, and are fat and happy.

I order 3 chicks from them, 2 years ago this may. All were healthy and fine. Only have 2 now due to an accident, they still lay well. It is a bit expensive, but best option if you want to order a few online.
