Anyone built a predator proof coop

I thought mine was predator proof...until yesterday. A snake got in and ate one of my little call ducklings.

It came in through the 1" mesh.

So I picked up some deer netting (1/2" mesh) and will cover the run sides and top with it.

I think ours is pretty secure - we followed a lot of the advice on other threads here. You can check it out on my BYC page . . . we used 1/2 inch hardware cloth, real lockable latches (to keep neighborhood kids out), no gaps more than 1/4 inch and galvanized metal buried about 9 inches down around the perimeter. So far so good . . .

Ours is pretty well predator proofed. We are certified Predator Friendly. See pics at the links below. You can't see from the photo, but the top of the run is covered with pvc coated half inch hardware cloth.
