Anyone else get bitten by Charter?

I tried to log onto my wegotchickens e-mail account yesterday and kept coming up with a blank account, welcoming me as a new subscriber. I was freaking out! I had e-mails I'd saved in a 'records' folder, stuff like that, and it was all GONE!

Then last night I got an e-mail from Charter apologizing because they deleted a BUNCH of accounts during routine maintenance. 14,000 according to the news this morning. Ouch!

So, anybody besides me get a surprise yesterday?

Not Yet, I use Charter to.

You lucked out, then. You should be fine. The damage was done Monday night and they supposedly have 'resolved the issue so that it can't happen again'.

It didn't effect all accounts. DH's account is fine, and my other Charter account is fine. Only the one I use for this site & the Easy Garden was hit.
