Anyone else Hatching Turkeys around the 27th of May?

You know, I just noticed that I had said 8 days left in my other post. I am losing my mind apparently. I had some muscovy duck eggs that were set on the 28th of last month, and the turkey eggs that were set the 6th of this month. They would have been due about the same time. Evidently when I posted that other response, I was thinking of the muscovies set date, and not the turkeys

The turkeys are due on the 2nd, Only 1 week left!!

Maybe I'll get lucky, and have some chicken hens with new babies around that time? It's very possible, since I have 10 broodies on eggs!!

Its suppose to be a sweet grass. It is so cute, I am just way to excited.

That's cool, what happened to your other eggs?

1 started weeping day 2 in the bator, then another about 3 days later. so I was down to 4. the other 3 never developed but I left them in til dat 18 just incase then they started leaking like little dots of stuff coming out the pores so I had to toss them. I was so scared this one wouldn't make it.

I had one that started weeping around day 3 or 4 as well, I just thought it had something on it that was sticky to begin with. I have never had an egg that started weeping that early! I rarely have any that weep. But that one had another that was touching it, and of course when I moved the one, part of the other's shell was stuck to it. So I had to toss both of those. I had another 1 or 2 that were quiters, and 1 or 2 that were clear. But hopefully, these last few will hatch!! I would hate to only have 1 or 2 babies!

Yes, I am lucky because the silkie eggs from backswampgirl are hatching now also, I had 1 just hatch. So at least it will have friends.

That's good, I don't think I have any chicken eggs due when these turkeys are? I probably have a hen or two that will be hatching then though, so I might be able to stick the turkey babies with one of them. I don't know how long the hen would be able to keep the poults though, I think all my broody hens are tiny bantams
