Thought I had posted on here since things started. I have 6 out and fluffed. 1 was a really delayed pip. It's currently working on absorbing the yolk sack and breaking free. I had my "Wrong Way Willie", pipped on the wrong end. I wasn't sure if it would make it or not, but this morning I couldn't tell which one of the 3 new ones was Willie.
Candled the ones that didn't make it, then opened them up. 2 stuck yolks, 2 were what I think would be called cross beaks, 2 were questionable at lock down but I gave them a shot. I thought they were moving after my temp. drop but they may have been on their way out then. The last one was fully developed, the yolk was mostly absorbed but there was a spot of bare flesh on the back of it's neck. No idea if it was an injury or damage from tryng to get out.
I'll move them to the broody tank tomorrow and try and get some pictures.
