Anyone else have hatching eggs coming the first week of March? :)

Thought I had posted on here since things started. I have 6 out and fluffed. 1 was a really delayed pip. It's currently working on absorbing the yolk sack and breaking free. I had my "Wrong Way Willie", pipped on the wrong end. I wasn't sure if it would make it or not, but this morning I couldn't tell which one of the 3 new ones was Willie.

Candled the ones that didn't make it, then opened them up. 2 stuck yolks, 2 were what I think would be called cross beaks, 2 were questionable at lock down but I gave them a shot. I thought they were moving after my temp. drop but they may have been on their way out then. The last one was fully developed, the yolk was mostly absorbed but there was a spot of bare flesh on the back of it's neck. No idea if it was an injury or damage from tryng to get out.

I'll move them to the broody tank tomorrow and try and get some pictures.

I've got some out, but I'm expecting a bad hatch.  I didn't watch my humidity the way I should and I checked several times to find my wells completely empty.  Weird air cells.

We had a hard freeze (unusual for us) and I didn't count on the drying effects of the heater as much as I should have.

I'm sorry! At least you were able to get some out! :) pics?!!

Yay! And sorry about those two, Idk that ill be able to do an "eggtopsy" I know ill take it really hard. Can't wait to see pics.

Out of the bator and into the tank. The seventh one seems to be getting stronger, sleepy chick in the front. It is now walking, tettering, last night it was just laying on it's side.

To early to sex yet so we'll see.

Adorable!!! :)
Noahsmom, any word on when your eggs arrive?
Supposed to be next week, I haven't heard word from either breeder. I'm hoping I hear something by Sunday though! Such a tough wait.

Just checking back in to see if you had an update on your egg arrival? The one time I ordered the shipper printed the label when the order was placed but then I had to wait all most a month before she ws able to fill it, then it got stuck and sat at the post office over the weekend!

Hoping they show up on Monday for you.

Thanks! And oh no! No egg shipping horror stories lol!!
I actually got word earlier this evening that they will be shipped tomorrow :) so very excited! Although these will probably be the longest couple days actually knowing they are on the way and wondering what will go wrong!
I will keep you posted :) the bator is up and running, my accurrite is reading way off but I just turned it on not long ago so hoping by morning it will be correct... If not then ill run and get another.
Oh I should also add this is only the silkie eggs still no word on the RIR eggs from the other breeder. Praying he will let me know tomorrow I really want to set them together!

Just wondering if anyone else has Hatching eggs coming the first week of March? If you do, please give more info and where you go them? :) I have RIR's and Silkies coming and hoping I'll have some pals to get through this (first time) scary process with!
Me, they will hatch on day 6th, eggs are from my backyard flock(BO, RIR, Aus over Australorp roo) and Black CM from a guy in Sonora,CA. This is my 3rd batch and first in my new Brinsea 20 advance. Wish me luck.
