yes, unless you let someone borrow your egg cooler and never got it back

Hmm.... if you never put a newly laid egg in the fridge, it will still last for weeks just fine like that. But once you refrigerate them, you have to keep them cold.

Try keeping them on your kitchen counter and only cooling them when you give them to friends (in zip-locs or something).
