Anyone elses chicks delivered late to the P.O?

Thanks you guys! I'm not going to blame the post office for anything. Our mailmen and women are very reliable and our post office is full of really nice people. I just figured I'd have somekind of update on the tracker by now! I'm wondering if they've even arrived in Reno yet? If not- have they left Texas yet?

My phone number is on the box... Would the express people have called me or will they just drop it at my door?

Hi, I don't know how far your chicks are coming from. MPC shipped mine (from Meyers in OH) express mail.
I went to this link: http://webapps.usps.com/expressmailcommitments/landing.jsp
and typed in their zip code and mine to find out exactly how long it would take. I live in Montana, so even for express it was 2 days. I just got my chicks, a very nice woman called from the post office this morning at 6:30 am. Everyone seems to be doing well. Hope yours come soon.

Hello again! I wanted to ask if your order is coming from Texas? If it is, then your tracking info should at the very least have a departure scan from Texas. A lot of times with express packages you may only have two instances to track, where and when it originated, and an arrival scan at your own Post Office. I'm so sorry this has happened

keep us posted!

You crack me up! You remind me of a broody hen (I think it's sweet). Try not to worry. My chicks arrived 3 days after they were due and most survived!

Ordered day old chicks by mail and although they were insured, expressed shipped, etc. they did not arrive until 5 days after they were supposed to. Amazingly they were all in good health and all survived. Dip their beaks in water immediately as they may be stuck from lack of moisture and check their butts for pasty butt and wash gently off with warm water. Apparently, new chicks live off the remains fo the embroyo for the first 3-5 days.

Lol thanks everyone! And for the link too! Will try it out in a few ( I am still at work!)

Yep they are coming from Texas. I think it's too late to get them today, the PO closes in two hours . Oh well, hopefully tomorrow...

Lol I am total broody hen right now! I got chick fever months ago... Searched forever for showgirl chicks to no avail... So I got some eggs. Out of thirty only four made it to lockdown then all four died during. So I had to search AGAIN and finally found some! Yay! Now I'm freaking out all over again, haha.

Chacha these guys are not day olds... They are two to four weeks
