You can really use a lot of stuff at your house too!

been fishing since I was 5. I been just starting with saltwater fishing. I hate catching freshwater eel as they hide in rocks!

Chickenman10, my husband and I fish saltwater out of Wellfleet Harbor. We've never done fly fishing, although we've seen people try it on saltwater. Seems like a TON of work.

I learned patience by fishing. I love nothing better than to sit in the sun at a lake waiting for trout to bite. Way better than working, anyday!

We also take our SeaRunner out of Homer for halibut every summer, nothing more exhilarating than feeling that huge tug at 150 ft!! We also go out of Whittier (Prince William Sound) for shrimp, and sometimes Seward for Silver Salmon. And I've had 3 marriage proposals from my smoked salmon.

LOL! We do when fishing for Silvers. But it's legal in salt water to snag, too, which isn't always as easy as it looks. If you catch it just right, when they're running, you can't keep them OFF of your hook!

For halibut we just bomb out to our favorite fishing hole, drop anchor and fish in one spot at slack tide.
Ooh, and they even opened up Kachemak bay for Tanner Crab again...

I love fishing. I went with my uncle and my cousin once and i caught a nine pound crappie on a 4 lb test

My uncle caught a bunch of small one and my cousin caught a couple.

I love to crab to.

And i would love to learn to fly fish
