Anyone getting chicks shipped from Meyer today? Want to wait with me?

I ordered from them in early March. (well ordered in Dec for delivery in early march)

Mine took two days to arrive in freezing temps (20-35 deg). (shipped Mon PM arrived Wed AM) All 15 arrived healthy, wealthy and wise. Well maybe just healthy. I've been very happy with them. I kept 4 and they are still doing well.

They called me the day of shipping to do a replacement. (no blue laced red wyandotte, got a black copper maran instead) I picked Meyer because of the BLRW (and low ship quantities) so a little bummed at the time but I knew when I ordered I had the last "planned" chick to hatch. So I'll try again when I order next time. (in 2013)

I'm excited about the chocolate eggs though.

Good luck with your shipment.

My tracking # says:
Processed through Sort Facility, April 04, 2011, 3:41 pm, MANSFIELD, OH 44901

My stomach is in knots too! What is wrong with us? LOL

Mine are supposed to be shipped from Meyer on May 2! I was raised on a farm, but haven't seen a live chicken in decades. Ordered 5 SL Wyandottes, 5 Barred PR, and 5 Partridge Rocks. Reason is I want them relatively peaceful, docile, and able to survive the harsh winters here in northern Wisconsin. Lordie! It was snowing pretty good again today!

I saw today online that mine have been shipped today and they added a tracking #. I think I have checked the tracking number a dozen times by now! Very excited. We ordered 4 golden buff pullets.
