I enjoyed the show and was able to see some very nice LF RIRs. Also, Frank Harris the tresurer of the RIR club guilded me thru to a better understanding of what made a good RIR bird. He and James Anderson talked to me for well over an hour showing me how to judge birds combs, coloring, shape, stance and many other things. They also signed me up for the RIR chub on the spot. And, advised me on how to start raising chicks and with what incubator they reccomended. We were there for 4 hrs. and I would've paid for the information I obtained.
The show wasn't as big or varied as the show two weeks ago in Winston-Salem. And, they didn't have as many outside for sale that is very true. But, there were maybe 20 LF RIRs, and 20 bantam RIRs, A large room and a half of bantams of different types and more LF than the Winston- Salem show. But the best thing about both shows is that there were some of the nicest, most helpful people there.
