anyone got weird names for there chickens??//

Don't really have "names" for our birds, but I do call them by various names.

For the little ones:
"Little peeping monstrosity"
"Adorable little bird"
"Little chicken"

For the big ones:
Variations on "you complete moron"
Variations on "you idiot"
Variations on "stupid bird"
Variations on "nasty little creature"

And yet, I still love those idiotic birds.

Honey Boo Boo just named her pet chicken Nugget. I have a neighbor that has a chicken named Delicious. It kinda bugs me when people name their animals after food...especially if they ARE going to be food!

It just seems a little mean. Anybody else share this pet peeve?

Ed, you're not the only one. I named a chick Nugget that grew into a huge mean rooster, I renamed him dinner.

Everyone has so many chickens and I've only got three *･゜ﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:*･'(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)'･*:.｡. .｡.:*･゜ﾟ･*
Someday I want to but like 10 chickens!!!! (if my back yard would be big enough)

Its nice to go out in the morning and only have to recite 10 names =P
But I really want to add to my flock this spring. which will be fun

I have 3 gold comets that I can't tell apart, so I call them all Hagithas, then I have Wussy, Johnny Bravo, King Henry and his 4 wives, Snap, Crackle and Pops, Fatty, Tabbykins, Lil' Thug, Homegirl, Tinsel Top, Smitty, Wannabe, Booger, Sissy, Show Stoppa...

Someone called Honey Boo Boo should not be allowed to name anything. Ever.
When the chickens complain about their culinary names it will be time to stop calling them food. I'm sure all they care about is that they get food.
