Anyone hatching April 5-7 or so? ALL DONE, READY TO BE LOCKED

I just locked down my 11 barred rock eggs. I did candle all of them prior and was amazed to see definite movement in 3 of them!!! The rest were too dark. All have nice air cells and veining. All I can do is watch and wait now. Good luck to everyone!!

Unplugged the turner this morning. I candled last night 1 last time and dropped the crap out of an egg. Its a lavender Ameraucana and if it hatches it will be a miracle. One whole side of the egg is crushed into millions of tiny shell pieces. It hit the table and fell to the floor. Membrane didnt break so I left it in there. See.

I have been candling in my bedroom closet. The first one I saw movement in I almost dropped. After that I was oh, so careful. I will make sure to put my incubator on the floor when I take the turner out.

Lockdown for my is Tuesday. YIKES! I think I only have 1 left of 7, not so thrilled with the LG still air incubator and temp fluxes. But I guess we will see. I already took out 2 I knew for sure were bad but the others are questionable so they will stay in. Next batch I try, hubby is going to put in a computer fan and hopefully that helps. I so want at least one of these lemon blue cochins to hatch!

Our first clutch of eggs (Cochins) are due to hatch on Wednesday the 4th of April. I bought them on this forum from a BYC member named banjoejoe4783. I used my tax returns to but the Octagon Advance EX which is a great, hassle free, incubator. The kids are especially looking forward to it. They keep asking me, “How many days left, dad?” Now it’s down to only three days.
