hey Suechick thank you about about my bator heheh yes double fan well I really dont know what eggs are because the hen wasnt mine it just came from i dunno where and layed the eggs in my juncked truck till the coyote attacked her she was good looking hen gray color but who knows where she came from i candle the eggs yesterday and 8 out of the 10 are alive with bloody veines and a litle thing in the center of the veins hehhe im so happy . the battor its gonna be finish after my hatch it wasnt finish but i had to use it as an emergency due the problem with the hen .. i will upload pics when its all finish and hopolly when im hatching

We're doing a mini-hatch on April 9th. We only set 8 eggs. I would have set more, but that was all I had to set at the time.

my first hatch was in my homemade bator with shipped eggs and I got fuzzy butts, you can do it too!!

So, if your turkey hen can fly... how small are midget turkeys? I've always wondered, how different is taking care of them than chickens? Are they noisy at all?

OH YEAH!

I just took a peek at 7 of my eggs, 6 of them had veins!!

Even a couple of the EE eggs that I thought looked REALLY bad from post office handling.
OK, not the smartest thing to do when I'm getting ready for bed though.

I am so pumped I'm not sure how long it will be before I can fall asleep.

Well, I couldn't hold myself back today about taking a look.

So I candled a few eggs and we have veins! I am over joyed, as I thought I had already killed them all.... I looked at one of each egg and all looked good, minus our don't know what egg. Also, the bantam eggs were questionable. But Our little game egg has little veins in it, I think that is what made me so excited! I even called my mother, Kevin, and mother in law, like as if I was going to birth them myself. Kevin didn't seemed to excited but my mother is, as it's her dad that gave us the eggs!

I'm guessing the blue ones from a few miles away will pip first, hatch first..we shall see.

Man, I wish I could down load pictures..that would be fun when they hatch. For some reason, no matter what I do, I just can't get it to work..down size them, tried everything..will have to get one of my sons over here to see if he can show me what I'm doing wrong.
