I can't find the page that had the poster who was on day 21 and had 41 eggs and had no sign of pips or movement and were thinking they were all dead.....

Any news? Does anyone know?

Hi chevgrl
I had a one that pipped on the wrong side and a couple that pipped low missing the air cell. None of them made it. They chirped for a while then nothing. If I could go back a day I would try to intervene. I did manage to save one that was having trouble but lost 3 that should have survived. I hope yours makes it!

That is a hard one...if you are not hearing or seeing anything and it appears to be in the wrong end, I might bring it in the bathroom...start up the steam...and quickly take a peek...just open a teeny spot right where the pip is and see if it needed some air....it is so hard to give advice because each situation is different. I went in yesterday and finally had to assist a couple and watching the first batch hatch and the behavior, it becamse clear that I needed to help that one egg... If it just started to pip, it could very well be taking a break. I had over 24 hours between pip and trying to break out. More on a couple of them! Are you sure that the air sac is on teh other end?

okay i started up the shower!!! im just going to do alittle bit to allow for air movement. should i wet the membrane? so it doesnt get hard?
