There eyeliner, my husband is the Wellsummer expert and he says the ones that don't have the distinct eyeliner around there eyes are males, this is the only breed he says you can tell so early on.

I know right!!! When I sent this pic to my sister in law, I put the caption as, I have a chicken in one hand and a turkey in the other,

they always call her turkey, lol. She got a kick out of it!!

Boy did I do a really dumb thing with my CJ silkie eggs!!! I had a good 15 now I am down to 11. I think the cuts on my fingers from wiring the run might have contaminated a few of the eggs! I wash my hands really good but the wire cuts are just sooooo nasty!!! I'm using disposable gloves when I touch them now but I think I did do in at least 4

Becareful candling and handling!!!!
