So happy for you! I have 2 that have just pipped (sp) I'm so new to this part of raising chickie-doodles... Super excited for you and me!!! I ran to town this morning and bought chick starter and just fired up the brooder to get it warmed up.....

That's the thing, my hatch date was actually Sunday, but I didn't get my first pip until I'm guessing sometime last night. My temp dropped some during incubation, so I think that's why, but shouldn't I have seen another pip by now?!?!?!

If you had temprature swings, give them a couple more days. Hopefully they are just a little late.

Man I spoke too soon, hubs just told me he heard chirping from my silkie egg!!! And just saw a pip!!!

Hey Everyone I am on day 21!!! some movement but no cracks yet!! this is our first hatch only 6 eggs left in the bator They are Lavender Silkies if im lucky and maybe a Paint, but I set some eggs in my other bator 45 silkies due on christmas eve, I have Lavender, splash, partridge, white ,BBS! I can't wait to see the little ones
