We put our eggs on lock down tonight and when I walked up there one of the mutt eggs I put in there had a hole in it and I could hear it peeping! We put two mutt eggs from our chickens in there two days earlier(ya I know not to do that but there both doing fine) than the shipped silkie eggs and my mutt eggs were sitting out in the cold for 1-2 days so I wasn't sure if they were going to hatch. Well,it looks like none of the shipped silkie eggs are going to hatch. Is it just because there shipped eggs or am I doing something wrong? The odd part about it is all the pictures of infertile eggs are exactly what these look like. I'll try to get a picture of the egg being candled to see what you all think. Before lock down my humidity stayed in the 40%s and at 100 degrees. At lock down I'm keeping humidity around 60-70%.
Thanks!
