Oh I know...she's like a little T-Rex, lol. I haven't bothered her other than to just look in on her and give her a banana last night as a treat, which she really enjoyed. Fiona, my partridge silkie, is a house chicken so she's been inside since the whole broody thing started so that has been really easy! My flock did not like her so I had to set her up inside and at this point, I'm glad I did because my coop just will not work for broody hens. Until she went broody, she was my lovey, snuggly girl, lol...now she is a you know what!!
I like the whole broody/momma thing, but I'll be glad when it's over too. I think I will just leave her be and see what happens. She has food and water and a warm dry place so hopefully she will know what to do. So far so good. She has been sitting on eggs for almost 2 months! She went broody and all I had were plastic eggs, lol and really didn't consider getting her any real eggs at all till last month when I realized how badly she wanted to be a Momma. We'll see if I do this again or not
