How is everyone's eggs doing? I have a few rocking, but that is it! I am so excited!

I have a broody that is supposed to hatch out 4 eggs tomorrow!!! First time I have done this with a hen as opposed to an incubator!

This is my first time ever! So I am not sure what to expect.

I keep looking in the bator to see what is going on... make sure the temp is right and humidity.

Right now my temp is 100 and humidity is 80%!

IMO, your humidity is too high...it should be around 65-70.

I had 2 coturnix quails hatch tonight! This was my first hatch ever too. It's funny, when I heard the peeping, I thought it was a bird outside, lol! Then I looked in the bator and there was a little chick! 4 more have pips. Can't wait to see in the am if anymore hatch.

Yep I am hatching only I wasn't suppose to be , they are only on day 19 so suspect temp to high using a still air incubator and it is located in my bathroom so had trouble keeping temp regulated. so far had 8 out of 11 Americana mix hatch and 1 bantam out of 16 not to bad everybody else is pipping so will see in the morning if i have anymore hatch only one problem the bathroom is off my bedroom so i will be lucky if i get any sleep. also anyone using the white temp and humidity gauge from wallyworld have any problems with it my went completely out so now have no way of knowing what my temp and humidity is until i can get to town tomorrow and get another one.will post tomorrow if anymore hatch, hope they all hatch before i leave for vbs tomorrow evening.
