Anyone have a good experience with no crow collars?

I have 2 silkie chicks and if they turn out to be Roosters I would need the collar for I live in the city. Anyone have anything to say about the collars or about silkie behavior in terms of crowing?

There are many threads on the subject. In my experience they do not reduce volume levels to a degree that are sufficiently effective in urban settings.

No chickens are allowed at all. These are my boyfriend and I emotional support animals. We have ESA letters from our therapists. Just don't want a legal battle. Unfortunately I'm allergic to most animals. I was considering another bird, but all of them require a lot of attention and as I work it wouldn't be fair. At least these chickens have each other while e are gone.
