I am sure my Black Australorp looks just like someone else's many states away too.

The chances of a chicken traveling around living wild for 5+ years here in the states without getting eaten or run over are incredibly remote.
I sincerely believe you are either, at best, mistaken or at worst being creepy.

Best to let him be exactly where he is.
