Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Pics
I'm a LOOOOONG time lurker on BYC. It's the first place I go for any, and I do mean any, chicken-related question I have. I finally had to create an account so I could stay updated on this thread! So glad I did!

Welcome aboard!!!
Everyone helpful supportive and since I take it you have had Chickens for a while I know I and others that are very new to this world would appreciate any input you could add to any thread on BYC!

Maybe you can start your own Banty rooster pad so your little pullets get a rest?
:goodpost:

Update: still nothing but I didn't get to walk around as much as I would have liked because when I went to try to snap some pics of Mr. Squatch, he jumped down and immediately went to try to fight one of the other bantams, which made him easy to catch and provided some insight as to why someone may have just turned such a pretty bird loose.

That incident also quashed the Squatch-Pad idea :(
Usually roosters fight more when hens are present ;)

Getting to stay home due to knee issues frees up wayyyy to much time for me. I seem to always have something cooking.......
Crock pot apple butter is pretty awesome!

I am looking forward to seeing Mrs. Squatch! I really hope she is just hunkered down and shows up with littles in tow!
