Anyone have Small coop ideas?

I’m going to get six chicks to hand raise. But I don’t have ideas of where they will stay! HELP!!!

Until thet are about 6 weeks old they will need a brooder with a heat source. After they can go outside without a heat source. You could either build or buy a coop with an attached run i personally build mine because its cheaper and you can make it how you want. For six chickens the coop needs to be about 20 square feet the run about 60 square feet. I have a 10 ft by 10 ft chain link dog pen with 2 big plastic tubs for a coop until i can build a real coop. There are so many ideas of ideal coops for 6 birds. The coop size isn't as important to me as the space for a run where they would likely be most of the time. As long as the birds have good roost space for 6 birds would be good. This site has a lot of good ideas as well as many others. Also it depends on where you have them (location) and most import for me besides providing good space for the birds is predator proofing it and protecting the birds. Most everything likes chickens. What works for one person may or may not work well for another. Good luck and have fun...

Another thought crossed my mind, You could make the coop like a brooder where you can supply a heat source at night when it's cooler out this time of the year but won't need it during the day if it's as hot where you are as it is here. My chick coop does have heat lamps but I haven't been using them lately as my chicks are getting bigger. We made some as chicken tractors where we can move them around but now they are in places and were not moving them around any more.
