Anyone in eastern North America have a house duck?

Why does she need to be a house duck? It was the one who died that was special needs right? I am confused, it would seem easier to re-home her if you were open to her living outside with other ducks...

She’s been indoors since she was born and will be while she’s with me. I just don’t want her to be thrown into a big flock where she could be bullied or killed by a predator. She’s pampered and needs lots of attention, she loves her hugs and cuddles, and I don’t want her to not get that attention because she will only see her new humans twice a day for feeding time.

PA wouldn’t be too terrible for me! I used to study in RI so I’m familiar with the day long drive lol. What kind of duck is your girl? Think she’d want a friend?

I’d have to look into the guidelines for transporting a duck into the states
I vote for Kkrista! She'd be perfect!

I am going to contact a friend tomorrow to borrow one of her ducks for a little while to keep inside with Gil and I to see how Gil reacts to having another duck inside! Hopefully all goes well, we will see! :)

If you can get her to the Boston Area I can get her to Eastern PA. I have to get a duck in VA at some point, and that's not far out of my way.

PA is actually closer for me than Boston, but thank you for the offer! I’m still not sure about my plan with her but I want to have a backup just in case
