Me too! Forgot what you are hatching and too lazy to scroll back. What's happening?

I locked down 31 quail and 8 silkie/cochin. The quail are hatching like popcorn. 6-8 since 4 a.m. Hubby can't count for sure, and I'm not home. But dying to get there!!!!

I have 2 EE I am waiting to hatch but so far I have 1 welsummer, 1 brahma/welsummer cross and 1 EE out. I have three that I think are quitters. I only set 8 eggs

You are just across about three ridges from us..We have White Chanteclers and Dark Cornish...hoping to add some Dominiques soon.

I have welsummer and svart hona/blue laced red wyandotte eggs supposed to hatch around the 19th. I'm not so sure they're going to.... I've had horrible issues with my incubator!

I just took 15 little itty bitty quail out of the incubator into the brooder. Several of the other 16 eggs have pips. And now I have a pip in one of my 8 silkie/cochin eggs!

What kind of incubator do you have? I really wanted another welsummer hen but all the welsummer eggs I have hatched turned out to be roos.

aww congrats. I am hoping to add a few EE hens
