Pics
Im from hinton in summers county and it hit us bad most of our county is with out power and i lost 30+ eggs wen the power went out. im with the volunteer fire department and i was cutting trees from 11pm friday nite to 5 am the next morning

We're still without power in braxton county, and looks like will be for the rest of the week. Lucky to have a generator and enough gas to get that far. I've not heard of any fatalities from this, and hope it stay that way...neighbors are all OK.

I wonder if anymore dollars should be spent on that system, so far all it's done is interrupt my favorite program endings to tell me of storms not even in my area..lol..there are other systems working better, maybe I'll send a letter to the governor.

I think he should be aware of it, and someone needs to explain it. My friend was in a veterens meeting and had no idea how dangerous the roads were, driving in the dark with downed power lines etc...jeepers, something is def broken. Hope he has e mail, fill find out.

I knew how strong it was thanks to Facebook friends who knew i was getting ready to leave for southern Ohio to cover an event. 91 mph winds when it left Fort Wayne Indiana, hit the event with 80 mph winds. I stayed put and it hit here at 10 pm...few trees down but we were lucky, never even lost power.

You would think, if I can get updates that our Government (state or otherwise) could use the system we have in place to get these alerts out faster! It is being described as a hurricane with no warning.....
