Anyone in WV???

I'm totally addicted, it's bad lol I think we're at 32? Or so.... The guy told me they are but I don't really believe people. I think they might actually be. I know there's a way to kind of tell, I just need to actually look at them and then read the articles again. I think these girls got stressed from moving, they aren't laying but hoping they will soon! One of the amerecauna hens is HUGE too! I need to get better pictures of them.

Oohhh so addictive! I'm retired, single, kids gone, so the chickens keep me busy. I'd love to find a small place out of town. Then look out. Lol.

What kind of incubator did you get?
I started with a Chinese knockoff of the Janoel 48, the temp started messing up on me on day 18 of a hatch. I kept it stable with a heat lamp to finish, then bought a Brinsea 20 Advance and it's been perfectly awesome!
I'm more addicted to hatching I think lol

Main think with true Ameraucanas is white skin. No yellow or dark gray. And pea combs. I think those are the easiest things to check first.

Edit... Im not sure if that's accurate or not. I'm a bit brain dead right now.

Heading to bed. Back to work tomorrow yuck.

Hope yall post some pics soon!

If anyone wants some americaunas chicks, I have a new incubator I would love to try out. I just need to know the chicks will go to good homes. I can hatch pure americaunas and-or barred rock/americaunas cross. Um eager to try my hand at incubating.

What colors do you have??

Hubby just moved me out here from Reno away from my family and friends so I get my farm lol we have 12 acres :) I don't work right now cause he has kids from a previous marriage so we're all still working those details out and I gotta find a job that pays well enough to make the traveling worth it! So I'm getting our farm set up :)

I just have a little giant Styrofoam bator...but I'm still anxious to break it in. I have two of basically the same type.
