What kind of incubator do you have? I really wanted another welsummer hen but all the welsummer eggs I have hatched turned out to be roos.
I have two, a hovabator 1602n and a little giant

well I ended up with a brahma/welsummer cross, 3 EE, and 1 welsummer and guess what it was, a rooster! I have a brinsea mini eco and a LGI have two, a hovabator 1602n and a little giantif you're interested, I can sell you a chick if there's a hen, I'm not going to keep any of them, maybe a svart cross. I have a blue laced Brahma (someone gave them to me, I think they're Wyandotte/brahma mix), a deleware /brahma mix, game bantam mix going into the incubator tomorrow![]()

Well I have hatched out a total of 4 brahma welsummer crosses this year and 3 have already come into their adult feathering. They are built like the brahma with the brahma comb and lightly feathered feet but they get the goldish feathers at their necks like a welsummer hen. I know they will lay some sort of brown just not quite sure how dark.I bet the Brahma welsummer are gorgeous!! What color egg do they lay??
Do you like your mini?? I thought about getting one
l Iike it because it is great at incubating but on hatch day last time I had an issue with the humidity effecting the heating element. so this time I incubated in the mini and hatched in the LG.I bet the Brahma welsummer are gorgeous!! What color egg do they lay??

Checking in. My Son, Wife and myself just moved to Rupert.
Starting our flock with 2 laying hens (RI & NH Red), 6 one week old chicks (3 RI red, 3 Barred Rock), and 4 one month old ducklings (supposedly Pekins from TSC, suspecting 2 are Blue Swedish.)
isn't it odd how TSC seems to always have different breeds mixed in with what they said. I swear there were amberlinks the other day marked on a tub and there was obviously some red sexlinks in thereChecking in. My Son, Wife and myself just moved to Rupert.

I go to three different ones and I have always seen mistakes at least once in each one.
