something has been chewing up my birds at night today i found this on my bed

does anyone know what it is could it be the big brown rat that i think is chewing my birds at night, i hope i prey

Wow, if that's from a rat it's a pretty big rat. I thought squirrel when I first saw it, but it could be a super-sized rat, I suppose.

I'm no expert.

But not having a really good grasp on the size.....squirrel foot and the raccoon hind foot doesn't look THAT different.

I have been under the impression that squirrels don't actually attack birds.

shes killed full grown squirrel before but i thought it was a fluke like i didnt think she would really take something that big and tough again as they are larger then rats even

Squirrel...... And I too agree, if your cat is taking out squirrels KEEP HER AROUND. They may seem small and harmless, but squirrels are tough little SOBs....
